Sandammarens beach in southeast Skåne tops the list with its sand “white as powder”. He writes that behind the beach there is a nature reserve with moose and excellent birds Guardian. The beach is also described as having “Caribbean features”.

As an activity, it is recommended to visit Santamarans Lighthouse, built in the 19th century. You can order drinks and snacks from a kiosk or grab a bite to eat at a cafe – but otherwise the beach remains untouched, the newspaper writes.

Britons are being advised to stay at Loderup's beach hotel with sea views and cottages with “simple and comfortable rooms”.

Tofta Beach, Gotland

Tofta Strand – a three-kilometer stretch of beach in West Gotland – offers little more than a few cafes, simple campsites and the shimmering Baltic Sea. It seems to attract the British.

Gotlanders come to their beach and take a stroll in the breezy weather, have lunch or a few drinks and enjoy the sunset at the Tofta Beach House. The restaurant has been praised for its Scandinavian design and its proximity to the water, writes The Guardian.

The Guardian notes that most visitors stay in Visby – where the 20-kilometre cycle path runs. Otherwise, you can drive 20 minutes.

Boda sand, Åland

The list of the most beautiful Swedish beaches ends with Boda Sands on the east coast of North Åland. Böda is described as a “family dream” with its 20 kilometers of sand, dunes and pine forests.

The southern part of the beach has showers, toilets and cafes. But as you walk further north, it becomes quiet and empty.

According to The Guardian, Boda Sand Beach Resort caters to both children and adults – everyone can eat there and children can use the playgrounds. This is also where The Guardian recommends staying while traveling.
