SPY x FAMILY confirms its UK release date

The upcoming film, directed by Takashi Katagiri and written by Ichiro Okochi, marks the big screen debut of the popular anime, which has had two seasons so far.

The series is based on the 2019 manga of the same name, and follows a spy named Twilight, who disguises himself as psychiatrist Lloyd Forger, in order to investigate political leader Donovan Desmond and build a fake family.

He marries the kind-hearted assassin Yor who has her own ambitions, and the couple pretends to be a happy family with their adopted daughter, neither knowing each other's secret.

The synopsis for CODE: White reads: “He's a spy. She's an assassin. Together, Loid and Yor keep their double lives to themselves while pretending to be the perfect family. However, their adopted daughter Anya, a telepath, knows both of them. Their juicy secrets are unknown to them.”

“While under the guise of taking his family on a winter weekend getaway, Loid's attempt to make progress on his current mission, Operation Strix, proves difficult when Anya is accidentally involved and leads to events that threaten world peace.”

The film's story was supervised by the original manga's creator, Tatsuya Endo, and has been described as a treat for fans and a good introduction for new viewers to the series.

while, Spy × Family A third season has not yet been confirmed, but its popularity means there is every expectation that the series will return.

Also in the works is a video game adaptation of the show titled SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories, with Bandai Namco Europe Confirming that the game will be released in June.
