For the fifth year in a row, the National Hockey League and the league’s international broadcasters will broadcast prime-time matches in Europe. In total, 41 record games will be shown on NHL Saturday and NHL Sunday, offered by SAP, in a total of 30 countries starting October 15. Presented by SAP, SHL Saturday and NHL Sunday premiered in 2018 and are the result of the incredible work of the NHL and international broadcasters to show more games and the league’s biggest stars in better television times. NHL’s international media partners include Viaplay in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland and the Baltic States, ProSieben in Germany, Sky Sports in Austria, Germany, Italy, Nova Sport in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, MySports in Switzerland, ESPN in the Netherlands, Premier Sports and Viaplay Group in Britain Great, Sport-TV in Portugal, Sport Klub in Balkans, Max Sport in Bulgaria.
The broadcast is specially produced for European fans watching NHL Saturday and NHL Sunday to enhance the viewing experience.
