Samsung continues to invest in OLED displays aimed at PC gamers. Just before CES opened, the company did just that Launched Three new models in the Odyssey OLED family.
The first is the Odyssey OLED G95SD, a 49-inch ultrawide display with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time. It also works as a TV with Samsung's software for various streaming services and for streaming games using the Samsung Gaming Hub.
The Odyssey OLED G80SD is a 32-inch, regular flat panel display with 4K resolution and 16:9 format. It has the same refresh rate and response time – 240Hz and 0.03ms respectively.
The last in the trio is the 27-inch Odyssey OLED G60SD with 1440p resolution. On the other hand, it has a 360Hz refresh rate and is equipped with LEDs in Samsung's Corelighting Plus system.
All three displays support Freesync Premium Pro and HDR with Vesa Display HDR True Black 400. They also have anti-glare treatment to work better in bright rooms. The screens are scheduled to be released sometime in 2024, but Samsung did not specify more than that and did not reveal prices.
