Important news in the agreement for store employees:

• Harder for employers to plan. The new agreement states that employers should avoid layoffs, that is, cut employee hours, and should consider other options when reorganizing. If they continue to do the planning, those who have been employed for a long time get an extra long adjustment period. Those who have been employed for at least six years get five months off work. Anyone who has worked for ten years gets a nine-month transition period.

• Enhanced possibilities of obtaining more hours. The employer should strive to give you at least 30 hours on the contract, for those who have the job as your main occupation.

• Greater chance of wanting to work or being free. The employer needs to justify why, if you don’t get what you want.

• Increasing the influence of trade unions on employment. When employers want to bring in temporary employees, the union has the right, among other things, to ensure that they do not work for less than regular employees.

Important news in the agreement for warehouse and e-commerce employees:

• The employer must take greater responsibility for the work environment. Among other things, by making sure everyone who drives a forklift has the right skills and taking increased responsibility for the work environment of your hired colleagues.

• The business owner must explain his decisions. Employees are entitled to a justification from their employer if they do not get the days off they would like. If you were a probationary employee and your employment was terminated, your employer must also state the reasons for this.

• Right to trade union information. All new employees who will work for more than three months are now entitled to union information on paid working time, so they know their rights to work. This applies to workplaces with trade unions.

Explain the right skill development It was written in the agreements of both the warehouse and the e-commerce store. Companies must offer to develop the skills of all employees within the profession and this must be taken into account when determining wages. This is in accordance with the terms of reference appendix to the agreement, which has now been updated.
