In a video posted on Twitter by Rasmus Palud on Sunday, he says he is traveling to the English town of Wakefield to “fight against anti-democratic forces”.
He said he plans to burn the Koran next Wednesday, which coincides with the start of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
This prompted a reaction from the UK and Baludan has now been denied entry into the UK, according to reports. BBC. British Defense Minister Tom Dugentat said Rasmus Paludan has been placed on the Special Alert List in the UK Alert List.
– His visit to the UK would not promote the public interest and he would not be allowed to enter, says Tom Duggenhaut, according to the BBC.
“Dangerous Man”
Simon Lightwood, a Labor MP representing Wakefield, spoke in the British House of Commons about Baludan’s possible arrival.
– Mr. Baludan has previously been imprisoned in Denmark for his hateful and racist statements. He is a dangerous man who should not be allowed into this country, the BBC said.
In February, four students were suspended from a school in Wakefield after a student destroyed a Koran. Its cover was torn and some pages had marks. Police said no crime was committed and students will be allowed to return to school.
