Swedish-British Volta Trucks, which makes electric vans, generated €85m in revenue with its first firm customer order with production starting in the second quarter.
Series production of the Volta Zero will begin in Steyr, Austria, in the coming months, the company announced at Press release. The trucks are designed for electric transportation in urban environments, and have an operational range of between 150 and 200 kilometres.

Pre-orders for the 6500 Volt Trucks
Volta Trucks previously reported pre-orders for 6,500 vehicles. This number includes all markets and all models, including those not ready for production.
