Another major milestone for Porsche is that it has now produced 100,000 copies of the electric Taycan. The lead car is a Turbo S painted in Neptune Blue. The three largest markets for the car are the United States, China and the United Kingdom. The Taycan is available as a sedan, crossover, and Sport Turismo. It’s the Taycan 4S that goes the furthest point on a single charge – 51.3 miles.
Kevin Jake, Vice President of Model Line Taycan, says:
“We are very pleased to reach this milestone in production history so quickly – despite recent challenges posed by the shortage of semiconductors and the volatile situation of Covid. With the Taycan, we have made a decidedly successful start into the electric era.”
Congratulations Porsche!
