Quick out of the gates
Oneplus claims that it will release the Android 14 based Oxygen OS 14 as early as September 25th.
Google has not yet announced an official date when it will start rolling out the sharp version of Android 14 on its Pixel models, although it is believed that it will happen in a couple of weeks. However, Oneplus has released the information that it intends to start rolling out the Android 14-based Oxygen OS 14 on September 25.
The company did not say anything about the models that will be covered by the initial launch of the operating system, and it is believed that it will include Oneplus 11, in addition to some Oneplus 10 models and new Nord models. Even their first foldable phone — the Oneplus Open which is expected to launch this fall — is believed to launch with Oxygen OS 14.
OnePlus hasn’t detailed all of the detail changes in store for Oxygen OS 14, but the focus seems to be on achieving high performance without sacrificing power efficiency. To this end, Oneplus introduces what it calls the “Trinity Engine”, a proprietary blend of hardware and software resources.
Overall, the company listed six areas for improvement without any official explanation. These include CPU activation, RAM activation, ROM activation, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering.
