NOW TV is one of the largest and most popular streaming services – and for good reason. Not only does it offer thousands of films and box sets on demand, but subscribers get access to live Sky channels without being tied into a long contract.

There are five NOW TV memberships to choose from, and although it will be expensive to sign up for all of them, each one individually offers good value for money. In this guide, we'll take a look at the channels included with each NOW TV membership as well as what type of on-demand content you can expect to watch.

TV Entertainment Membership Now

The NOW TV Entertainment Membership features some of Sky's most popular channels plus a ton of TVs including some of the biggest TV shows of recent years – we're talking the likes of House of the Dragon, Chernobyl and Succession. . Let's take a look at the channels on offer.

• Sky Atlantic – Home to many of Sky's biggest shows, including recent blockbusters including Game of Thrones, Euphoria and Winning Time. Sky Atlantic isn't available from Virgin Media, BT or TalkTalk, so a Sky TV subscription or NOW TV Entertainment membership is the only way to watch it and actually access any of its content when you catch up other than buying it outright on a competitor site. service or Blu-ray/DVD
• Sky One – Sky One has long been showing a mix of comedy, drama, entertainment and documentaries, including the likes of Manifest, Cobra Rebellion and The Lazarus Project.
• Heaven history – Formerly known as The History Channel, Sky History presents documentaries, reality shows and big-budget dramas such as Vikings
• The nature of the sky – Hundreds of episodes of nature programming including exclusive David Attenborough documentaries and Ultra HD content
• Watch the sky -Sky Witness was called Sky Living and mostly features American drama series or medical-themed American drama series
• Sky Comedy – The home of US comedy on Sky, there are old favorites like Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Will & Grace, plus new episodes of the long-running sketch show Saturday Night Live
• Heaven's crime – If you are a fan of true crime documentaries, this is the channel for you
• Sky Documentary Films – This channel features more than 100 award-winning documentaries covering sports moments, scandals, celebrities, politicians and more.
• Sky gallery – New channel branding showcasing new shows and familiar favorites across Sky's range of channels
• Sky Kids – It is a channel and a group of channels, and you will be able to access them all on NOW TV. These channels are: Sky Kids, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nick Jr., Nicktoons, Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, Boomerang, and Baby TV.
• Sky Sci-Fi – is a relatively new channel from Sky that focuses on sci-fi shows such as FROM and LOST. However, it appears to have replaced SyFy, which as a channel that has been around much longer and has a lot of its own unique content, is sure to be missed by sci-fi fans.
• MTV -It still features music although MTV is focusing more on reality TV these days with shows like Cribs and Ex on the Beach
• Comedy Central – Another channel that offers you a wide range of American comedy shows, such as Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, and South Park
• peacock – It is a general entertainment channel that contains a lot of exclusive content from series to movies and more. Featured shows you can watch exclusively on Peacock include Bates Motel, Saved By The Bell, and Real Housewives
• NBC News Now – An excellent 24-hour news channel from NBC, whose news production and coverage are among the best in the world.
• gold – More classic British comedy shows than you can imagine, we're talking the likes of Blackadder, Only Fools and Horses and Porridge
• pretext – As the name suggests, a collection of American and British television shows with a heavy focus on crime fighting – think mainly detective shows
• PSL area – A group of programs prepared in British Sign Language

Now Sky Sports TV Membership

A Sky Sports membership gives you access to 11 Sky Sports channels. There are no collections to be found here, but the channels, when not showing live events, have a good selection of documentaries, classic clips and interviews with big names.

Sky Sports Premier League

With hundreds of Premier League matches shown live each season, this is still the place to watch the Premier League, despite the rise of BT Sport.

Sky Sports Football

Sky Sports Football Two focuses on live coverage of international football, the English Football League, the League Cup, Scottish football and the European Championships.

Sky Sports Cricket

The big draw here is that Sky has the rights to broadcast England's Test matches, but there's also coverage of T20 competitions, the County Championship and more.

Sky Sports Formula 1

The only channel on which to watch live coverage of every race in the Formula 1 season (the British Grand Prix is ​​also shown on Channel 4 for free). All training and qualifying sessions are also shown live. Read more about Sky Sports F1.

Sky Sports Golf

Featuring live coverage of events including the European Tour, PGA Tour, Masters, US Open, PGA Championship and Ryder Cup.

Sky Sports Racing

This horse racing channel, formerly known as At The Races, offers daily tips for those who love betting, live scores, race cards, interviews and more.

Sky Sports Action

Sky Sports Action features live coverage of the NBA, rugby union, league, darts, badminton, NFL and more.

Sky Sports Main Event

It shows big events from dedicated sports channels in one place and acts as an additional venue for live content when there are, for example, two Premier League matches being shown live at once.

Sky Sports Mix

As the name suggests, there's a little bit of everything here. It includes a lot of sports that don't have a dedicated channel such as rugby union, rugby league, swimming, basketball and tennis.

Sky Sports Arena

Another channel shows a mix of sports, including darts, motorcycling and boxing.

Sky Sports News

Headlines and breaking news from the world of sports. The channel's coverage of football transfer deadline day is always popular, as is Soccer Saturday where Jeff Stelling keeps you up to date with all the latest results.

Now Sky Cinema TV membership

A Sky Cinema membership gives you access to 11 live channels and also includes thousands of films available to watch on demand. Here is the full list of channels – we will not try to go into detail describing them because the names speak for themselves.

Names are correct at the time of writing. Sometimes Sky changes one of these names or adds an additional channel to celebrate a holiday, a particular film franchise or a new release. More recently, there has been Sky Cinema Christmas, Sky Cinema Harry Potter and Sky Cinema Star Wars.

Kids TV Membership Now

Sky no longer sells a separate children's membership option. Instead, children's channels are integrated into the NOW TV Entertainment card. This seems generous, but it's likely a result of a lack of interest in the standalone kids' package on NOW TV.

There are no live channels included in the NOW TV Hayu membership but it gives you access to the latest episodes of top American reality TV shows like Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Million Dollar Listing New York, Backyard Envy and Get A Room with Carson & Tom. There are over 5,000 episodes available in total so you can watch to your heart's content.
