Ahmedhodzic has been suspended from the national team indefinitely.

“Since it is not the injury that prevents him from joining the squad, Anel Ahmedhodzic has been suspended until further notice and a disciplinary investigation has begun,” the league wrote.

24-year-old Anel Ahmadhodžić has made 21 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina since making his debut in 2020. In the Nations League last year, he started as a centre-back in both matches against Finland.
