Small and flexible lighting for videographers and photographers.
Zhiyun is mainly known for its gimbals. Last year they launched Fiveray. Now they are releasing a new series of LED lights.
According to the manufacturer, the Molus G60 is as big or as small as a Rubik’s cube and weighs 300 grams. It can perform up to 60 watts at maximum power. The CCT range can be between 2700K and 6500K. It can be set via Bluetooth or with a built-in remote control.
A CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 97 should provide accurate color reproduction. The G60 can be powered either with a power adapter or with USB-C.
The older brother Molus X100 weighs 385 grams and can deliver 100 watts of power. CCT value ranges from 2700K to 6500K with CRI 95 and TLCI 97. Color temperature and brightness can be adjusted via Bluetooth or using the built-in mechanical controls.
The flashlight can be powered by battery grip, DC adapter, or 100W PD fast charging.
With the ZY Vega app, you can control both the X100 and G60. Both lights have Zhiyun’s ZY arc for light modifiers and there is an adapter for a Bowens arc. Both LED lights feature Zhiyun’s new DynaVort cooling system which consists of a gyroscope and FOC fan to prevent overheating.
The lamps are available in several different combinations. Molus G60 costs 2,799 SEK, Molus X100 3,599 SEK, and Molus X100 Combo 4,999 SEK. LED lights will start to be delivered at the end of March 2023.
