The Public Media Alliance (PMA) is an organization based at the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom working with a focus on research, discussion and exchange of experiences for public media around the world. From now on, Swedish Radio is a member and Sila Pinko will take a seat on the PMA Board of Directors.
I am pleased that Radio Sweden is now a member of the Public Media Alliance, an important player in the international media debate in general, but in particular with a focus on the value of public media globally. I look forward to being able to learn from colleagues and share experiences with them around the world as a board member, says Sheila Pinko.
Om Public Media Alliance
It was founded in 1945 and is open to members of the public service media worldwide. Members include ia BBC, ZDF, Radio New Zealand, ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), Rwanda Broadcasting Agency. The PMA is based at the University of East Anglia in the UK and activities focus on connecting academic research and public debate, presenting discussion forums, sharing experiences and education, etc. Read more (English)
