Mean Girls 2024 UK Release Date – Where to Watch

Now, a new version of the film is hitting theaters, and although it follows the same plot as the 2004 original, the new Mean Girls movie includes songs from the hit 2017 Broadway musical of the same name.

The featured roles of Cady Heron and Regina George, made famous by Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams, are this time played by Angourie Rice and Renee Rapp, the latter having previously starred in the theatrical version.

Original screenwriter Tina Fey wrote the script and once again reprized her role as the school's math teacher Mrs. Norbury, a role she portrayed in the original film.

In the United Kingdom, the film is shown in cinemas Wednesday January 17, 2024 – So choose your best pink outfit because of course “on Wednesdays we wear pink.”

Although originally envisioned as a Paramount Plus original, the film is now being given an exclusive theatrical window — meaning that for the foreseeable future, the only way to see it is to take a trip to the pictures.

“However, when Cady makes a huge mistake by falling for Regina's ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels, she finds herself falling prey in Regina's crosshairs. As Cady prepares to take down the group's main predator with the help of her outcast friends Janice and Damian, she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the “The Cruelest Jungle Ever: High School.”
