Net sales were SEK 1,409 million (1,536).
Profit after tax was SEK 269 million (439). Earnings per share were SEK 3.43 (5.60).
Profit before tax was SEK 328 million (561).
The result was weighted by regression
Skistar’s results in the company’s third quarter (March to May) 2022/2023 were reduced by recurring costs of SEK 48 million (0).
This is evident in the interim report.
These expenses are mainly attributable to write-downs related to restructuring carried out in the next financial year. Skistar estimates that only minimal restructuring costs will be incurred in the coming quarters.
More foreign tourists are booking
Skistar reports a 5 percent increase in winter 2023/2024 compared to the same period last year.
This is evident from the company’s interim report for the third quarter of the financial year 2022/2023, the March to May interim report.
“We received more bookings from our foreign guests, for example Denmark, Great Britain and Germany, driven by the currency effect and interest in affordable holidays,” Skistar CEO Stefan Sjöstrand writes in the report’s foreword.
