Oppo doesn’t sell its phones in Sweden yet, but they are available for purchase in several European countries, such as the UK, Spain, France, Germany and Italy. However, it is interesting for us Swedes, partly because it can be bought in other countries, but also because they have an increasingly close cooperation with Oneplus, which can be bought here in Sweden.
This is notable, among other things, in the fact that Oppo, just like Oneplus, is collaborating with Hasselblad on the cameras in its mobile phones. This means that the new Oppo phones have a lot in common with the current Oneplus phones and the upcoming Oneplus 10 Pro.
Oppo Find X5 Pro has a 6.7-inch Amoled display with screen refresh up to 120Hz and LTPO2 technology. The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Instead, the Oppo Find X5 has last year’s Snapdragon 888 and a slightly smaller 6.55-inch Amoled display, also with 120Hz refresh but without LTPO2 technology and therefore not dynamic, with lower resolutions and With a slightly lower maximum brightness.
Overall, the two phones are pretty much the same, and the Oppo Find X5 Pro and the Oppo Find X5 both have three cameras on the back. It consists of a main camera of 50 megapixels, a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and 13 megapixels and an additional 50 megapixels for wide angle. Hasselblad stands for color calibration and its Marisilicon chip, as I said for image processing and artificial intelligence.
Both phones are equipped with SUPEROCOOC fast charging, the same as Oneplus is using now, at 80W, Find X5 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery, while the standard Find X5 has a 4,800mAh battery.
The phones come with Android 12 operating system and Oppo Color OS 12.1 interface. The phones in the case of the Oppo Find X5 end at €999, while the Oppo Find X5 Pro costs €1,299 in the countries where it was released.
