Hogia received the Career Company Award for the fourth time

Hogia is the “Career Company 2023” and thus remains at the top among the most attractive employers in Sweden. Noting that Hogia “attracts Swedish talent”, the jury highlights, among other things, the focus on health and development opportunities as areas in which Hogia has strength.

Development opportunities are in demand among Swedish employees has been confirmed in Randstad Employer Brand Research 2022, the world’s largest employer independent brand survey. It has emerged that 61% consider it (very) important to have the opportunity for retraining/skilling by their employer.

Hogia is an IT company that has grown in just over 40 years to a group of 30 companies and 650 employees. The range of products covers everything from financial and payroll systems to transportation solutions within, for example, logistics and public transport, which means you have a broad perspective and are involved in creating a smarter society. Hogia’s focus on education and knowledge sharing has also led to a new project, to create Hakenäs Valley – a campus focused on entrepreneurship, education and health.

The organizational structure of many companies and the small scale is central to Hogia’s operations and contributes to the distribution of responsibilities among the many employees. This, combined with the breadth of the Hogia Group, creates exciting opportunities for employees to develop and pursue a career, of which there are a large number of examples.

One of them is Hogia’s new CEO, Niklas Rohn:
Development opportunities and responsibility here. Over the years, I have held roles as a consultant, salesperson, product owner, company manager, and business area manager. Personally, I was inexperienced when I had the opportunity to start a completely new company within Hogia. Giving your employees such opportunities seems very unique. We see it as part of our success and are proud and grateful to all the wonderful employees who have chosen to develop with us, says Niklas Run.

Human Resources Manager at Hogia, Ulrica Björn:
– We rely entirely on the competence of our employees and work continuously and dedicated to continue to be one of the most attractive employers in Sweden. Ulrica Björn says it’s good to see the significant investments we’ve made and are making in developing efficiency and health both appreciated and noted.

The Corporate Functional Jury justifies the appointment as follows:
“Hogia is an established employer with attractive benefits, social activities and a focus on health. Hogia is an employer that attracts Swedish talent. With great development opportunities for employees in the group and a strong culture and communication, it’s no wonder that for the fourth year in a row they have been named a professional company!”
