For the sixth year in a row, Feelgood has named a healthy company in Sweden. As one of six finalists, Hogia demonstrated how systematic work in ergonomics contributes to healthy employees and a good work environment. In total, nearly 100 companies and organizations participated in the competition. Hogia is the only IT company among the finalists.
– We can thus call ourselves the healthiest IT company in Sweden, which we are very proud of, says Christine Krellberg, HR specialist in charge of ergonomics and health at Hogia.
Sweden’s Best Company award aims to find and highlight good examples of employers, across Sweden and in all industries, who invest in the quality of life of their employees and create a thriving and healthy work environment.
The justification reads as follows:
At Hogia, health is a natural part of everyday life, and a really active option in the budget business. Health inspirations contribute to team spirit, movement, and a healthier workplace, and healthy activities are adapted to employee needs. Communication is very good, with ongoing reconciliations and opportunity for staff to reflect and highlight any need for change each week. The balance between work and leisure is highly valued, and hybrid work routines have been developed that work well. The regular work environment is well structured with safety rounds, pulse measurements and hazard analysis. Leadership programs and active support from human resources lead to healthy leadership.
– There is a strong and health-conscious commitment among our employees, management and owners. Hogia dared to invest in employees’ ideas and made tangible health investments based on that. It is a combination of support from management and great commitment from our employees that has made wellness a part of our daily lives at work. It’s so fun to be one of six finalists in Sweden’s healthiest company. It shows we’re on the right track, says Christine Krellberg.
– Nice to be able to highlight Hogia, who has such a strong business with staff wellbeing and life balance. This can be seen, among other things, in the number of activities related to health and well-being, says Joachim Morath, CEO of Feelgood.
Behind the award is the health company Feelgood, which, together with a jury made up of experts in the field of ergonomics and health, selects the finalists and winners. The jury consists of Carola Lehmen, former CEO of Svenskt Näringsliv and chair of the jury, Irene Jensen, professor of corporate health, Göran Johnsson, former head of IF Metall, Ursula Berge, director of social policy at the Academic Union SSR and Joachim Morath, CEO of feelgood.
Construction company RO-Gruppen has won the “Sweden’s healthiest company” award this year.
