Here are the new Sonos speakers

At the end of March, Sonos will launch its new speakers – Era 100 and Era 300. This is according to leaked information that was published by the publication The Verge.

There will be a number of similarities between the two speakers, including support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and AirPlay 2. There will also be a USB-C audio adapter and combo adapter for connecting the speaker via Ethernet as well.

The Era 100 will offer stereo sound and compared to its soulful predecessor, the Sonos One, it gets extra treble and a bigger bass unit.

On the other hand, the Era 300 will get support for spatial audio with the help of six speaker elements that are directed forward, left, right, and up. It should also be able to be used as a surround sound speaker with Dolby Atmos support.

In addition, TruePlay will also be offered for Android, but it will be the speaker that takes care of the calibration with the help of the built-in microphones. However, TruePlay on iPhone will still be able to offer more advanced calibration.

The Era 100 and Era 300 will be available in black and white. There are no Swedish prices yet, but according to the leak, the Era 100 is expected to be priced at $250, while the Era 300 is expected to be priced at $450.
