Hasselblad updates its digital back for the V and new Hasselblad 907X cameras with twice the number of pixels.
In the fall of 2022, the Hasselblad Now the Hasselblad CFV II 50C digital rear has been updated with the same 100MP sensor.
The back can be used for classic 6×6 format V cameras that have been sold for several decades or for the Hasselblad 907X camera body launched in 2019.
The 907X features Hasselblad's new XCD lens mount for mirrorless cameras that offers flash sync up to 1/4000 second thanks to its central shutter. With the adapter, HC/HCD, XPan and V lenses can also be used.
The back-illuminated CMOS sensor is 44 x 33mm, providing 1.27 times the crop compared to the 6×4.5 film format and 1.21 times the crop compared to the larger sensor used in the Hasselblad H6D-100C.
The back of the CFV 100C can store images in 16-bit raw format and has a screen that can be used for “live view” photography instead of an optical viewfinder. It is also possible to save images as 10-bit Heif files.
