In a column titled “The Saga of January” (HBL 10.1), the problematic that the SFP’s local office was in contact with local activists was presented regarding the explanation that there was a discussion about seat distribution after local elections.
As the party secretary of the SFP, I would like to strongly advocate for my staff who clearly did what needed to be done: contact the parties involved and inquire what happened and if there was anything that needed to be resolved. This was done and the status was sorted as also mentioned in the column.
Contrary to what can be seen from the column, the district office invited Fanta activists for an interview about the importance of how to energize everyone equally in politics. For some reason, no such interview took place, but I am convinced that our activists will be available for such interviews in the future as well. Good communication is a must in all activities and we will continue to communicate effectively with our field.
Frederic Joseph Party Secretary, SFP
Answer It is a good idea for the district office to encourage party activists to discuss and give interviews on issues related to gender equality. Open discussion is always good. The interview never ended because those involved, as the facts show, withdrew. I don’t know how they imagined inviting the chancellery for the interview.
