This Saab dealership with cars and all was abandoned shortly after going bankrupt in 2011. Today, the garage and workshop make a ghostly impression after being vandalized.
– The feeling inside was great but still sad when you see all the abandoned Saabs in the workshop, says a Swedish YouTuber who visited the car showroom recently.
It seems that the idle car brand Saab is more popular than ever and the interest in cars is very high, news and reports about Saab are very interesting. It’s been just over 11 years since the ill-fated bankruptcy in December 2011. Earlier this spring, the remains of Saab, Nevs were buried in Trollhättan. At least now there is hope that the Nevs Emily GT electric car will go into production.
For many retailers, bankruptcy was very painful. Some have persevered and continue to sell Saabs to this day, like this distinguished dealer in Taiwan. Other dealers have switched to new car brands, for example, there are many old Saab dealers in Sweden who sell Kia today. But for all car dealers, Saab’s bankruptcy did not end happily.
This car dealer was forced to close its showroom with Saab sales and the Saab workshop after only a few years of bankruptcy. The cars in the garage were almost new, but had been given away as is. Cars that have been repaired or serviced remain in the workshop. We will not reveal exactly where the garage is, but the workshop is located somewhere in the north of France.
Until a few years ago, the cars in the hall were still pristine and shiny. Reportedly, two cars were fairly new factory. The background to the parking garage abandonment is that the dealer went bankrupt and was put into compulsory liquidation. The cars were owned by the banks, who didn’t seem to have bothered selling Saabs.
But now, unfortunately, the old Saab hall is completely destroyed. Vandals have been breaking into, looting and smashing Saabs that recently seemed to be in good shape, at least outwardly. The car park was vandalized and old Saab advertisements were strewn across the floor. Unfortunately, the workshop makes an equally sad impression, and tools and valuable auto parts have fallen prey to thieves.
Just like the Saab car brand, it seems cars can’t be spared. One Swedish YouTube He visited the site recently and described it as scary but awesome.
It’s been completely ruined, unfortunately. It’s sad about the cars out there that are just decaying, they should be on the roads instead.
