Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather He faced the Bellator veteran in his sixth exhibition match last night Aaron Chalmers London.
“Money” Mayweather is one of the greatest boxing talents the sport has ever seen. At 46, the undefeated fighter is hard to measure up to younger talent, but through his exhibition bouts, he has managed to continue to put on a show for fans even at his advanced age.
He clashed with reality star and former MMA fighter Chalmers at this weekend’s PPV gala at London’s O2 Arena. The meeting with Chalmers was Mayweather’s sixth exhibition bout, and as expected, Mayweather showed great technique against a far less experienced boxer.
Chalmers had his moments during the bout, but Mayweather mostly led the dance with accurate jabs and quick footwork. This meant that Britain did not actually go on the offensive. As the competition was only an exhibition, no winner was declared after eight rounds. However, Mayweather landed more striking punches and would have won a hypothetical decision.
After the match, Mayweather took the opportunity to thank the British crowd and promised to return to England if the fans wanted to! Mayweather is expected to return for another exhibition bout soon. The star previously said that he can continue to face influencers and MMA fighters as long as he wants to.
