Prince Harry has arrived in England to be by his father's side. He flew alone from his home in California, leaving Meghan and two children, Archie, 4, and Lilybet, 2, in the US.
The Daily Mail writes that Harry boarded the plane 11 hours after the monarch announced she was ill.
Raja called his youngest son in person on Monday and told him the sad news.
Charles waved from the car
On Tuesday afternoon, the prince visited his father at Clarence House, the royal residence in London. After a brief meeting, Queen Camilla and King Charles were seen smiling and waving from their car as they left the house. The Daily Mail writes.
During the day, King Charles rested before treatment and on Tuesday morning Princess Beatrice and her husband visited.
Signs of peace inside the royal palace
It is not yet known where the prince will stay during the visit.
It is also unknown whether Prince Harry will meet Prince William and Princess Kate, who are recovering from surgery earlier this year.
The prince's choice to rush home was described by experts as a sign of a rift between the royal family in Great Britain and Prince Harry and his family in the United States.
