England squad ready – Rashford is expelled from the European Championship

Gareth Southgate, the Etihad captain, chose a squad of 33 players, which will be reduced to 26 players. According to the English Football Association, Southgate will not join the UEFA squad until June 8.

Rashford, who has not missed any tournament since 2014, scored only eight goals in 42 matches with Manchester United this season. He recently returned to the field after suffering an injury.

– These are difficult decisions. About Marcus, I feel that the other players in this part of the team had better seasons. Southgate says in a press conference: It's not more difficult than that.

Bosnia will play Newcastle on June 3 and Iceland at Wembley on June 7 in friendly matches before England heads to its base in Germany.

England did not win An international tournament since winning World Cup gold on home soil in 1966. It was close to the 2021 European Championship, when Italy won the final match on penalties. In the 2022 World Cup, the quarter-finals have been reached and England are seen as one of the few European Commission favourites.

-Are we one of the teams that can win? definitely. “I'd look like a fool if I said no,” Southgate said, adding that he and the team have a lot of work to do before the European Championship.

England opens its campaign against Serbia on June 16, then faces Denmark and Slovenia.

The Swedish national team is a sparring partner of both Denmark and Serbia before the European Commission. During Tuesday, national team captain John Dahl Thomasson will accompany the team to international matches in Copenhagen and Solna on June 5-8.
