England will play friendlies against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland this summer ahead of Euro 2024.
Gareth Southgate's side will face Bosnia and Herzegovina at St James' Park on June 3 before facing Iceland at Wembley four days later in their final match before the tournament.
England's first match will be against Bosnia and Herzegovina and their first match in Newcastle since 2005.
England will begin its European Championship campaign against Serbia on June 16.
Speaking about the friendlies, Southgate said: “We are really looking forward to bringing the team back to the North East and to a city synonymous with football in this country.
“We will follow this with another special event at Wembley giving our fans the opportunity to say their final farewell before heading to Germany for another exciting summer.
“Both June opponents are sure to provide strong competition and will play an important role in our preparation for the tournament.”
Both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland have yet to qualify for Euro 2024, and will attempt to do so through qualifiers starting in March.
The Three Lions are aiming for a better result after they finished runners-up, losing to Italy on penalties, in the postponed Euro 2020 in 2021.
This year's competitions begin on June 14, with host Germany playing Scotland in Munich.
