A new version of the classic role-playing game Dragons and Demons will be released in 2022.
Publisher Fria Ligan wrote in a press release that the game will build on the classic heritage but also take on the present.
It will be adapted from the start to gaming and online broadcasting.

The base game will be a chest with books, dice and maps and will be adapted from the start for games and online streaming, according to the publisher.
There are also plans for a number of adventure units after the base game. It will consist partly of newly written material, but also new, updated versions of adventures such as “Dimön and Döda skogen.
The rules will be based on the same principles as the classic versions, but will be simpler and more modern. The publisher is also planning to publish material from third parties and has started talking to potential partners.
The Dragons and Demons brand was previously managed by Riotminds who released several versions of the game.
