DJI is now releasing an updated version of the DJI Mavic 2, with, among other things, improved battery life, smarter obstacle recognition functions and a new camera from Hasseblad.
The camera has a 4/3 inch sensor that delivers 20MP images and a dynamic range of 12.8 steps. The focal length corresponds to 24 mm in a small image. The aperture is adjustable between f / 2.8 – f / 11. The drone is also equipped with another sensor for remote shooting, with 28x hybrid zoom (4x digital zoom), corresponding to 162mm in the thumbnail that provides 12MP images. The aperture is fixed at f/4.4.
The Mavic 3 can record video at 5.3K/50p and 4K/120p slow-motion sequences, and supports a 10-bit D-Log color profile.
In addition to the DJI Mavic 3 Standard Edition, DJI is also releasing an improved version, the Mavic 3 Cine Edition, which also offers the ability to record video in Apple ProRes 422 HQ at 3772 Mbit/s and has an internal 1TB SSD hard drive data transfer speed. .
