On May 5th at 6pm, the doors to this year’s Diamond League competitions open, and this year again many Swedes will participate and fight for top positions and glittering precious stones. Here you can find match dates, Swedish apps and which channels are broadcasting the matches.
There are many highlights of the athletic year, one of which is undoubtedly the start of the Diamond League. This year, the first competition takes place in Doha on May 5, and several Swedes will be on site: Simon Pettersson and Daniel Staal will test their disc skills against strong international opposition, and Andreas Kramer and Andreas Almgren will spike Doha’s run. A further 14 Diamond League dates follow in the summer and early fall. The entire tournament series culminates in mid-September with a two-day final in Eugene.
