Describing Cyberpunk 2077 as one of the most awaited games of the decade is no exaggeration. Enthusiasm turned to shriek when the game at launch was riddled with bugs and suffered serious performance issues, something that later turned out to be due to the developers’ short time. The performance was so poor that Sony decided to remove the game from the Playstation Store.
Since its launch, CD Project Red has chosen to delay future DLC updates to work on fixing the game’s biggest flaws instead. Now, six months later, the game studio and publishers have gone so far as to have Sony re-release the game on the Playstation Store. However, the return of the game to the Sony ecosystem does not mean that everything can be considered normal.
SIE can confirm the reintroduction of Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation Store from June 21, 2021. Users will continue to experience performance issues with the release of PS4 while CD Projekt Red continues to improve stability across all platforms. SIE recommends playing the title on PS4 Pro or PS5 for the best experience.
to IGN الألعاب gaming site Sony says that CD Project Red continues to work on improving Cyberpunk 2077 across all platforms and that the standard Playstation 4 still has performance issues. Sony doesn’t go so far as to convince Playstation 4 owners to buy the game, but it still makes a clear recommendation that Cyberpunk 2077 should run on a Playstation 4 Pro or Playstation 5.
Today, Cyperpunk 2077 can be added to the Wish List on the Playstation Store and will be available for purchase starting Monday, June 21.
