Complete list of all drivers and teams in Formula 1

We’ve known for a long time who the F1 drivers will be in 2023, but this week many of them have new managers. When it’s not a fun season with the drivers, it is with the consistent managers.

F1 Drivers 2023
Andreas Seidle leaves McLaren for Sauber Group (Saber)

F1 Carousel – Here’s the standard where the changes happened

Sauber/Alfa Romeo

The team may be called Alfa Romeo, but behind it is the F1 team founded by Peter Saber, which will become Audi’s factory team in Formula 1 in 2026.
The team has now lost Frédéric Vasseur as team manager, but has been joined by former team manager Andreas Cheadle at McLaren. Seidl worked in F1 with Sauber between 2000 and 2009 when they joined BMW, moved to DTM and then worked on Porsche’s effort in LMP1, where he became team principal in 2014. In other words, he is very familiar with Sauber. A team, but with the Volkswagen Group, which includes Porsche and Audi, and Andreas Seidl as their dream signing. He knows the team, he knows the team and he has worked as a team manager in F1 for three seasons with McLaren.

A bit more exciting is what will happen when Alfa Romeo leaves in 2023 and Audi arrives in 2026. Audi has been clear about wanting a German team manager and a German driver. At Alfa Romeo, Valtteri Bottas scores points, but his money holder is Guanyu Zhao, and although Joe is under contract until 2023, the team will need his financial contribution. Does this mean the end for Finnish drivers in F1 this time? This is an issue we need to address.

Ferrari

Frédéric Vasseur leaves the posts of CEO, team manager and managing director of Alfa Romeo to become team manager and general manager at Ferrari, joining a team where it is rare for a team manager to stay long. from Jean Tot, who stayed for 12 years). Vasseur has a background in GP2, the support series for F1, winning the championship with Nico Rosberg in 2006 and Lewis Hamilton in 2006. He has Formula 1 but moved to Renault in 2016 but left at the end of the season as he did. Did not get along with then manager Cyril Abitabol. In 2017 he moved to Sauber, which later became Alfa Romeo, and led the team to sixth place in the championship this year.

McLaren

Andrea Stella, have you heard that name before?
Perhaps Michael Schumacher’s race engineer at Ferrari between 2002 and 2006, which gave the German three World Cup titles, he held the same role at Ferrari in 2007 and 2008. And then to Kimi Raikkonen who won the World Cup title in 2007.
Since 2015 he has worked for McLaren, since 2018 as Competition Director and now he has been appointed Team Manager at Andreas Seidl. Seidl has expressed a desire to be closer to family in Munich, so it is thought he will take up the role after 2025. Now that change came two years ago, but it was well thought out.

Williams

Williams and Jost Capito end the collaboration, and technical director François-Xavier Demaison is let go.
It is not known who will replace them.
