Classic TV series “Alice McGee’s American” turned into a TV series | Movie Zen

The game “American McGee’s Alice” from 2000 based on the book Alice in Wonderland became a TV series.

Over twenty years ago, the cult classic was released American Alice McGee to PC, a dark interpretation of “Alice in Wonderland” and “Alice in the Land of the Mirror” by Lewis Carroll. In 2011, she had a successful sequel called “Alice: Madness Returns”.

Now, production company Radar Picture’s Field has acquired the rights to the game to make a TV series, using David Hayter As a screenwriter (“X-Men” and X-Men 2″, as well as the voice of Solid Snake in the “Metal Gear Solid” games).

In the game, we follow Alice, who ends up in a mental hospital after her family dies in a house fire. She escapes to her mental wonderland, formed by her damaged psyche.

The game series is a pioneering interpretation of the classic story. It takes you into the heart of a corrupted wonderland and casts light in shaded corners the world has never seen before. David Hayter says in a statement at The Hollywood Reporter.

Game series maker American McGee is currently working on a third game called “Alice: Asylum” and “Oz: Adventures”, based on “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum.

– David Hayter brings with him the imagination, experience, and stealth skills acquired through successful missions in films, television and games – a unique combination that will surely make this Adventure in Wonderland a successful adventure for the franchise and fans. I’m excited to work with him and I know Alice fans will be madly in love with him, he says.
