The leaders of Britain, Italy and Japan announced today that they plan to develop the Fighter Jet, a sixth generation combat aircraft that will be able to rival the most advanced combat aircraft in the world.
Development of the new combat aircraft is scheduled to begin in 2024 under the name of the Global Air Combat Program (GCAP). The United States has also launched a project to develop sixth generation combat aircraft, a project called “Next Generation Air Dominance” (NGAD). Russia and China are also believed to be developing aircraft models of the so-called sixth generation combat aircraft, combat aircraft that will, among other things, have stealth capabilities and be capable of unmanned flight.
Sometime around 2035, the countries involved in developing the Global Call to Action Against Poverty hope to be able to demonstrate this. Above you can see a concept image released by the Japanese Ministry of Defense in connection with the Global Call Against Poverty.
