Bought a Ferrari 488 and crashed three kilometers later

It has already happened, no, it’s not April 1st. In fact, on the 1st of this month in the UK Ferrari 488 GDP was badly damaged, after driving 3.2 km out of Derbyshire’s Derby battery cars. The cause of the collision is related to speed. The athlete first ended up on a sidewalk and then attacked a guard. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but for the new owner of the Maranello car, the note deducted from his wallet would not be negligible. A similar incident took place in late January last year when another driver destroyed a very rare Ferrari Enzo against a tree in the Netherlands.

In the crash, 488 GB – purchased Friday morning and drove a few minutes, local police confirmed – a ditch on the front bumper and hood, when the headlights went off shortly after the explosion. Fortunately, the damage should be repairable. Besides the injury, there was a shame. The driver is fined 119 euros for not having a front panel on the sports car.

The sports car has a carbon package with many carbon fiber components, and is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 centerline engine with 680 horsepower at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 760 Nm at 3000 rpm. It can go from 0 to 100 km / h in exactly three seconds and reach 330 per hour, although luckily this speed cannot be reached by the owner.
