Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was released last Friday and introduces the Mass Effect trilogy with nearly all related DLC packages for gaming. Missing is the multiplayer portion of Mass Effect 3, but it looks like this part could be added in the future. In the previous version, the multiplayer game mode was linked to the story of the game and players had to play it to reach one of the different game endings, but in the Legend Edition, this system was rebalanced so that all endings could be reached by playing a single player.
The reason for the cancellation of the new version was because Bioware had to implement a crossover between the new version and the old version. In an interview with CNET, however, Bioware project manager Mac Walters said that the multiplayer part has not been completely ruled out and depending on how players receive the game, it may be implemented in the future.
Would you like to play a multiplayer game in the new version of Mass Effect 3? If I remember correctly, it was still a very entertaining and challenging co-op style that was played even when the campaign objective was reached.
