Great Britain stands as the first hurdle when Finnish handballers begin qualifying for the 2025 World Cup. Ola Lindgren did not present any major surprises in his team selection.

For Finland, the first stage of the World Cup qualifiers consists of a double meet with Great Britain. In total, ten countries will already start qualifying from the first round.
