Bethesda won't rush Fallout 5 | MovieZine

Bethesda Game Studios is currently working on The Elder Scrolls VI, so the new Fallout game may be delayed, says director Todd Howard.

According to The Xbox Two Podcast, Xbox wants to release the next game in the series as soon as possible, to capitalize on the renewed popularity.

Game manager Todd Howard However, Bethesda Game Studios believes they won't rush out the next big “Fallout” game, until the game feels “right.”

-I completely understand the desire for a new Fallout game, but these things take time. I don't think it's a bad thing for people to crave something either. We just want to do it right and make sure that everything we do in the series, whether it's The Elder Scrolls or Fallout, is a meaningful experience for those who love it as much as we do. “We're in no hurry,” he says in one Interview on MrMattyPlays YouTube channel.

Late last year, Bethesda Game Studios released the game “Starfield”which received mixed reviews (4 out of 5 at MovieZine).

Now, the studio is instead focusing on “The Elder Scrolls 6,” which has no release date yet, which likely means that the sequel to 2015's “Fallout 4” could be a few more years away.

– Obviously I can't talk about what we're working on now. I like to keep things like this around for as long as possible and would rather announce a game and drop it as soon as possible, continues Todd Howard.
