Amazon has introduced a new label that shows if products purchased through Amazon are often returned by the buyer, Information reports.
The idea behind Amazon’s new “Frequently Returned” designation is that a buyer should review information and reviews about a product more carefully before they decide to add it to the cart. The warning about repeatedly returning an item seems to only appear if you’re signed in to Amazon. Examples of products with the warning include CD player “The Pro-Ject Automatic A1and one dress.
An Amazon spokesperson tells the information about the new tag:
“We are currently showing return rate information on some product detail pages to help our customers make more informed purchasing decisions.”
