Airspeeder is a racing series of electric flying vehicles. A few races have already been carried out using remote controlled “flying cars”. The MK4 is now being shown manned and the first race will take place sometime next year. The eVTOL machine is powered by hydrogen. It is manufactured in Australia by Alauda Aeronautics and they claim that it is the fastest of its kind with a top speed of 360 km/h. It only gets there 30 seconds after the start, so it’s a quick bastard. The range should be 30 miles and the crew weight should be 950 kilos.
On March 7, the MK4 will be shown at the Southstart Innovation Festival in Great Britain. During the third quarter of the year, the first rigorous tests with pilots will take place. racing driver Bruno Senna Appointed as Development Pilot and Brand Ambassador.
Matt Pearson, CEO of Alauda Aeronautics says:
“We and the world are ready for crewed flying car racing. We’ve built vehicles, developed the sport, secured venues, attracted sponsors and technical partners. Now is the time for the world’s most advanced, innovative and ambitious car brands, OEMs and motorsports teams to be part of the sport.” Truly revolutionary new cars.”
