A small report from the Association of Arboga Relatives/Carers

A small report from the Association of Arboga Relatives/Carers

A feature that was appreciated was that the municipality’s digital moderator, Jimmie Glämsta, was there and talked about what he could help people over 65 years of age. If you are having problems with a TV, tablet, mobile phone, or digital assistant, you have the option of receiving a home visit by a digital installer for a total of two hours. Good to know. Jimmy’s contact details were distributed to the meeting participants.

At the meeting, it was reported about the three trips that the association organizes every spring / summer. One trip is now complete, and I went to Eskilstuna. There we visited the Munktell Museum, had a good lunch and then went to the Retuna recycling fair.

At the Munktell Museum we were guided with stories about how it all began in the 19th century with tractors to the evolution of today as many companies merged and became much larger with the manufacture of different machines and more.

At Retuna-Galleian, which is world famous throughout Great Britain, we can visit 12 different shops but you can also have a coffee if you like.

Now there are two trips left over the summer, they go on 6/15 to Sigtuna with a visit to Bodatomtens Hantverksgård, lunch and then a guided tour of the city centre.

3/8 We go to the Frövifors Paper Mills Museum which ends at Nostalgibyn.
