We felt the reward would be valid even though we did not agree on it, says Tuomo Salonen, training director, in a press release.

The decision was made by Salone, Garco Finney, Head of Training and Education, and Athletics Federation President Sami Itani.

This is above all an important symbolic gesture and we want to thank the team for their exceptional success. In the spring, we will decide what the reward system will look like in future tournaments and specifically in the European Championships.

Medal-winning coaches also receive a reward of € 1000-1500. Noraluta Niziri, Wilma Murtu, Cristina Makela, Seni Salmenen, and Sarah Cuevesto, who all managed to score points, will receive a reward of € 1,000.
