adidas Originals Celebrates “25 Years of Södermalm” with New Samba OG Collection and Capsules

In 1999, Shoesnstuff opened its doors for the first time. Now they want to celebrate this with adidas Originals for a new capsule collection called “25 Years on Södermalm”. This will be their third collaboration this year after the SNS GT II “London” and the football collection.

For the “25 Years on Södermalm” collection, the products are executed in the green and white colours associated with the region and in this case they are the Samba OG boots, the Ringer tables and the famous Beckenbauer tracksuit.

“For everyone at SNS, there’s no better way to celebrate 25 years in the business than by going back to where it all began with this capsule collection. Throughout our journey, we’ve continued to honor our roots and those who played a role along the way, which is why we’re so proud to bring the unique energy of Södermalm to life with this collection and to continue our close partnership with adidas. Here’s to the next 25 years!” says Johan Undén, Creative Director at SNS.

The SNS x adidas Originals collaboration will also draw attention to a number of individuals, groups and organisations that have been part of the retailer’s journey and Stockholm street culture, including handball legend Staffan Olsson, Soul King Kah and shooting star Venus Anon.

A limited edition of the collection is available at Åsögatan 124 today and remaining stores from tomorrow, August 24. The remaining products will be available through its website.

Tonight there will also be a launch party where Kaah, Mapei and Alton will perform.
