Meghan Markle won't meet these three royals unless she returns to the UK: expert

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have only returned to the UK a handful of times since their dramatic departure from the royal family in 2020.

But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may soon return to the country to spend more time with King Charles in light of his recent cancer diagnosis.

However, if the couple returns to London temporarily, they are supposed to be subject to “strict rules” about which members of the royal family they can reunite with.

I think it could be limited to meetings with them [King] Charles and maybe [Princesses] “Eugenie and Beatrice,” royal expert Jenny Bond told New York magazine woman.

She continued: “The rest of the family will have to think carefully about the implications of meeting Harry and Meghan.”

Markle and Harry are in the midst of a long-running feud with Prince William and Princess Kate.

Bond claimed that other senior members of the royal family, such as Princess Anne, would have to show their “loyalty” to the Prince and Princess of Wales and would therefore avoid a reunion with the Sussexes.

Meanwhile, Grant Harrold, Charles's former butler, told the newspaper on Friday that Harry and Markle's return to the UK was “possible” – and possibly permanent.

Harold said: “It is difficult to say, given everything that has happened and the trust that has been broken, whether they can return as full-time royals, but I have always said if Harry returns to the UK, it is possible.” .

But Harry still has to make adjustments with William before moving permanently to the UK.

Harold explained: “He could have a discussion with his brother about resuming his royal duties, but there is clearly a lot that has happened over the past two years that needs to be resolved before the Sussexes return permanently.”

“I don’t think it would be impossible – when I worked for the royal family, I saw how close William and Harry were, and I don’t think that relationship has gone so far that it can’t be healed or repaired.”
