The dramatic Six Nations finale is almost here, and there is still a lot that can change on the final weekend.

There was something for everyone on the penultimate weekend, not least at Twickenham. Ireland were boasting a perfect record heading into their clash with England, but Steve Borthwick's side kept alive their hopes of finishing top of the group with the fewest wins.

Elsewhere, Italy stunned Scotland with a 31-29 victory to continue the impressive tournament. France were not at their best, but the 45 points they scored in the win over Wales are more than anyone else has achieved this year.

And so on to the final round of matches. here, Mirror sport It looks at all the permutations for each of the six teams, with a lot at stake.

For Wales, who are in last place, things look painfully clear. Anything other than a win over Italy would mean they finish last.

Even winning may not be enough. With a four-point gap to the Azzurri, the easiest way to escape last place is to win and make up the points gap – currently at 11 – as long as they ensure their opponents don't get a bonus point.

A narrow win could also get the job done if Wales pick up a bonus point in the process and Italy don't. Failure to overcome their rivals would leave Wales in last place and without a win for the entire series.
