Every time you want to share something on your iPhone or iPad using the Share button, a Share menu appears where at the top is a row of suggested contacts you've recently interacted with. Swiping along this row will reveal more contacts. The icon in the corner of each profile photo indicates which app you use most often to communicate with the person.
These suggested contacts are useful if you frequently interact with the same people, but there may be times when you'd rather not see a bunch of faces, such as if someone has been suggested multiple times across multiple apps. Regardless of the reason, it is possible to control sharing suggestions so that they appear less frequently, or not at all.
Make contacts appear less frequently in the sharing list
- Tap the share button (the box with the arrow pointing outward) in any app to view the share sheet.
- Long press on the suggested contact you want to see less often in the sharing list.
- Tap Suggest Less in the menu.

This doesn't guarantee that the contact won't appear in the Share Sheet again in the future, but if you repeat it every time it appears, iOS will eventually understand.
Remove all contacts from iPhone sharing list
In addition to deleting a specific person's contact in the Contacts app, you can alternatively disable the contact suggestions row entirely.
- Open the application Settings.
- Scroll down and select Siri and search.
- during Suggested by Apple Press the slider to disable the function.
The next time you share something, you won't see any contacts at the top. You can undo this by swiping Suggested by Apple once again.
