So Goldman Sachs analysts have chosen a number of companies in several different sectors as their European first choices.
In the banking sector, the French bank chooses Crédit Agricole, German Commerzbank and Dutch ABN Amro, among others. In the travel and leisure category, Goldman has stuck with the French lottery operator La Francaise Des Jeux, and in constructions for the similar French companies Vinci and Bouygues.
In energy and energy, Goldman Sachs prefers French companies EDF, Engie, Hera, Italian Italgas and Spanish Enagas.
On the telecom front, the bank selects Telecom Italia, the Belgian operator Proximus and the French operator Iliad.
In retail, Goldman Sachs spotlights French grocery giant Carrefour, as well as German online fashion retailer Zalando.
