Americans say UK football fans should be more enthusiastic and celebrate more

“Party more, just go and have fun.”

Americans suggested that UK football fans and sports fans should be more passionate and celebrate more.

This month, the United States shut down one of the most important days in its sports calendar, the Super Bowl.

Before the game in Las Vegas, we went out on the town Let's ask NFL fans what we Brits can learn From American sports, some of the suggestions were interesting to say the least.

You can see the answers below.

Besides the ridiculous suggestions of 'picking the football off the ground' as in American football, some have suggested that the UK could learn from how passionate American fans are.

One fan said UK football fans could learn from “how passionate they are [American] Fans talk about their teams.”

Another suggested Britons should “celebrate more, just go and have fun.”

A third described American football as “the ultimate team sport,” adding, “Football is a big team but it has a lot of individuals.”

He continued: “Every play is planned [American] “Football, so it's a real team sport.”

While there's no denying that Americans can be very passionate about their sport (just look up videos of Philadelphia fans if you have any doubt about that), it's a bold thing to suggest that football fans here in the UK don't show enough passion Or celebrate more.

With respect, we probably wouldn't take the Americans' advice on football matters.
