Right now, it's windy, wet and dreary, which doesn't exactly inspire outdoor behaviour. However, spring is on the horizon – as is the case with a slew of Netflix originals, with everything from dramas and comedies to action thrillers and cozy animated wonders. As we move through the first few months of the year, we can look at what lies ahead for our small screens.
This year, we have exciting projects from the likes of Tom Hardy and Zac Efron, a return from Lindsay Lohan, big-budget series, and exciting directorial debuts from Dan Levy, Daniel Kaluuya, and Dev Patel. While plenty of films and series are already pinned to the calendar, others are still wandering around looking for a place to land. players – February 14th
Netflix is returning to the world of romantic comedies in 2024, with a bunch of romantic movies, one of which is… players. The film stars Tom Ellis (from Luther a duck Miranda Fame) and Gina Rodriguez, follows sportswriter Mac (Rodriguez) who, after a series of hit-and-miss relationships orchestrated with her best friend (Damon Wayans Jr.), ends up falling in love with one of her targets (Ellis). Classic romcom shenanigans, no notes.
