According to new information from the usually reliable leaker DuskGolem So developer Capcom is currently working on a total of five new “Resident Evil” games. The horror series has become very hot in recent years and since 2019 has released a hit game basically every year. But it is not yet known that any new “Resident Evil” game will be released in 2024.

According to DuskGolem information, one of the five new games will be “Resident Evil 9”, the next part of the main series. Information indicates that the game will complete the plot that began in “Resident Evil 7,” which may mean that it will also be played from a first-person perspective. DuskGolem previously said that “Resident Evil 9” will likely be released in 2025.

But what the other four “Resident Evil” games could be is unknown. If it is about completely new games or remakes of games like “Resident Evil – Code: Veronica” or “Resident Evil 5”. The last game in the “Resident Evil” series was “Resident Evil Village” from 2021. The last “Resident Evil” game overall was the remake of “Resident Evil 4” released in 2023.
