SVT expert: ‘It’s Sweden’s perfection’

However, the Swedish curling team lacked an Olympic gold medal – something that has changed today. Because after an exciting match against Great Britain, they finally managed to win 5-4 after a judging round against Great Britain thus securing the gold medal.

The Swedish effort impressed SVT sports expert Eva Lund.

– The whole team is very united and calm from the first round. Then they play perfectly and are determined not to let Britain out of the match. Sweden has the strength to stand up mentally and keep the pressure from the start and hold it for 11 rounds.

“It makes this so great.”

Great Britain pushed the match into the arbitration round. But there Sweden had the last stone and could secure the gold.

– These are two of the best teams in the world who meet. Great Britain makes a good match, but it is not enough because it is the perfection of Sweden.
